The ribbed aluminum heatsink Raspberry Pi cases do a great job keeping a Pi cool. For those applications that don't push the Pi heat load far enough to need a fan, this passive vertical stand/mount is a way to cradle the Pi while allowing air flow through the fins. The base spaces the Pi and case up a few millimeters to provide an air space and plenum below the Pi and clearance for the SD card. It seems to also drop CPU temperatures a few degrees since the fins are oriented vertically with the convection air flow.
This is sized for the Pi 4 with an aluminum heatsink case and a slight friction fit. Depending on your printer and layer squish, it may be tighter or looser on other printers. The base isn’t huge so might be better in applications light on wires though there is clearance for the side connectors.
