This is my tray design for the Sustainapack challenge to create nesting packaging, specifically for shipping Microtechnologies' switches in bulk: https://grabcad.com/challenges/the-sustainapack-challenge

I aimed to keep it fairly simple and use a minimal amount of material while still being effectively protective. My tray concept can safely store the switches whether they have the brackets or not.

Each tray has a 5 by 5 layout for the switch enclosures, for 25 switches per tray, where a stack of 8 trays makes a 200-count package that fits into a square box.

There are top and bottom pieces that go with each stack. I made the top piece basically match the trays but this could be done differently (to use less material, for example). Its four holes are for fingers to easily remove when unpacking. Company logo can be centered upon it.
