After building a wooden CNC milling machine "Dötzchen" from CNC14.de, I've modified/optimized a few features. The most important is the dust show which helps to remove dust during milling process dramatically.
The shoe itself is installed on the spindle holder and fixed with a simple clamp.
As my used spindle from AMS has its fan outlet directly in the direction I'm operation the machine, I've designed a little wind fender mounted on two M2.5 brass nuts which are melted into the prepared wholes.
The lamellar brush part is kept in place by magnets (2x 10mm3mm round, 2x 5mm2mm round) and snaped on the bottom side.
The brush is available e.g. a ebay called "Flexible Leistenbürste Bürstendichtung 50 mm Faser wie Mink 6000". You need to adjust the length of the brush - I made good experience with length of ~35-40mm. Furthermore in this version you need to cut the red marked part so the brush can be pushed into the prepared guidance
