This is a 3D printed, DIY, Web Controlled Power Outlet Box. Created to allow me to remotely power on/off my 3D printer, Lamp, Raspberry Pi, and CAD computer. Got tired of leaving everything on all day either before or after a new print. Allows full web control from my wired LAN and remotely over the internet.
Uses an arduino and ethernet shield to allow you to remotely control 4 standard 120v 5amp outlets using computer, tablet, or smartphone. 3D printed housing and cover that I custom designed and printed. Even has a little clear 3D printed cube that brings the lights from the Arduino to the front. Thought that was a bit cooler than just a power led on the front.
120V to 5V transformer from a scrapped phone charger. Custom made relay switched circuit board with NPN transistors. (Pre-made 4 Channel relay boards can be bought pretty cheap but I wanted to make mine). Pretty cool way to remotely control household electronics from any web enabled device.
All Files Attached Including:
.STL files, .INO Arduino Code, and index.htm (To be uploaded to micro SD and installed in ethersheild).
