The Plytop Shell is a laser cut, hand assembled, SBC shell. It allows you to build a human sized laptop using cheap mass-market components and a Raspberry Pi 3, or similarly sized single board computers.
This is a spinoff of a 3D printed idea I had two years ago. Which is still on Thingiverse here.
The plywood construction means that you can bolt just about anything you want to on the monitor top. The bottom is cut such that you can strap components in with re-usable zip ties. The keyboard and trackpad are custom fit. I have the entire component list and assembly instructions on my homepage https://www.tinkerloon.com/projects/plytop
There are two different Top files piece
One assumes you are using a Waveshare 10.1 (B) LCD screen. This just means the bolt holes are aligned as such.
The other has no pre-made bolt holes or bolt cutouts. So you can either design the holes you need or drill them after the fact.
