Hi there,
i broke some of the microphone spiders/holders which are coming with an AKG C414 studio microphone. Buying a new one costs over 80 € (original part). So i decided to build my own one to replace the broken part. After building the ring i designed a holder and a clamp too. So here you got a microphone spider or holder for only 3 € of cost.
Additional parts needed:
1 x Hutmutter(Cap hut) DIN1587 VZ M6: 0,04 €
1 x Griff(Handle) BPF 390 M6x20: 1,61 €
1 x Profi Depot Bauscheibe(washer) VZ, Inner diameter 6,4mm: 0,02 €
two components glue to glue the 3/8" adapter into holder
1 x Millenium Thread Adapter 3,3/8" Inner diameter, 5/8" 27 Gg. Outer diameter: 0,99 €
2 x hair ties 0,50 € (?) or borrow them from your girl friend
Sum: 3,16 €
If your microphone is thicker than the AKG C414 you can just adjust the clap to the size you need.
Have fun!
Chris
PS: Sorry, my printer got some z axis issues while printing the ring...
