Shutter Mechanism

The iris mechanism is a diaphragm that uses blades to open and close the aperture of the calibration source. When fully opened, the aperture will open till its maximum diameter of 1600mm. When closing the iris, the shutter blades are overlapping and the aperture will become smaller thereby reducing the power output of the calibration source.
