12-22-19 Added V6 Clip on style hot end duct (WIP)
Doesn't quite have the strength to stay on, needs zip tie
12-18-19 Updated blower clips for a more snug fit on the hoses
11-13-19 Added MicroSwiss style Hot End Duct
11-16-19 Added V6 style Hot End Duct and parts cooling Fang
11-18-19 Added text to Exhaust Vacuum Duct
Designed for two 5015 fans. I have one running exhaust for parts cooling and the hot end runs intake (vacuum) so the air flow doesn't disrupt part cooling airflow. You can use two blower ducts if you want but a 5015 is too much for the hot end like that, it cools the print way too quickly, just too much flow.
Requires four M3x.05 bolts 25mm long.
I used this 1/2" seamless tubing from Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078KJLTFC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Why the vacuum hot end duct?
To remove the hot end cooling fan from blowing down on the print and acting like a part cooling fan.
Why move the fans at all?
To remove vibration and inertial and/or gyroscopic forces the fans create while the print head is moving.
Those same inertial and/or gyroscopic forces seem to be hard on the fans, making them fail and shortening their life span and cause them to make noise as they're failing.
This remote fan system removes all vibration and inertial and/or gyroscopic forces from the print head.
