This thing is for the small Proxxon KS-230 desk circular saw.
It makes a holder for a more powerfull brushless DC motor that replaces the weak stock 80 watt AC motor.
Those DC-motors can be found in RC-models, mostly planes.
Some electronical regulators requiered. Buy one for providing high amperage power and the other for regulation of the shaft speed .
The idea came from a guy hwo presented his mod on youtube, but he wants to make money from it.
So I have constructed a fresh model.

The files:
-the dxf file contains the 2 dimensional drawing
-the Openscad file that imports the dfx-file for extrusion
The small holes are intended to be 5mm, the one in the center 12.5mm.
Update:
added to the first line $fn=100; to force OpenScad making the imported holes round
-the stl-file ready for printing (perfect holes)
if you have access to a CNC router, make that thing from metal, highly recommended
What's next:
If you have a motor that fits - fine.
simply print out the stl.file.
If you are adapting the plate for other dimensions, take the dfx file and do what you want from it.
Eventually I have made the stl from 123Designer loading the dfx file in and added the chamfers.
If you are not using 123design or similar 3D CAD (for the chamfered holes):
the chamfers can be made manually if you print out a solid from the extruded dxf file.
OpenScad can export the extruded dfx file to stl.
Take the same regular tools used for making (sunken) holes when working with wood ;-)
Choose very low speed or turn the tool by hand.

He added two new sunken holes at a swiveled line to the stock mountplate and he has turned down the 8mm motor shaft to 6mm on a lathe
