Work in progress
Please check my new design here.
Low budget handheld console powered by orange pi zero with 2.4 tft lcd Inspired by project MintyPi. Works without custom PCBs, but I recommend using this one or similar for a display.. Project is not recommended for beginners. Some soldering skills are required (removal of the ethernet socket, an usb port and the H1102NL chip).
Overall everything works. Battery power still untested (unlike Raspberry Pi Zero, Orange Pi Zero doesn't work on directly connected 3.7v battery).
19.09.2018 - Joystick tested, works great with a N64 games and as an emulated dpad. I uploaded code to get it working to my github page.
You can find a code for a matrix keyboard with joystick here.
