You find here a pipe and T-connector for a city or town tree subsurface irrigation system. The pipe size is a german DN100. I build it in SolidWorks 2013 and the pipe is bend, so that it uses really 4m yellow drainage piping. Urban trees make an important contribution to global climate protection courtesy of their longterm storage of the environmentally-harmful gas carbon dioxide (CO2) in the wood. A tree absorbs CO2 through its leaves and releases oxygen (O2) into the atmosphere. In turn, the roots require oxygen, which they absorb from the soil along with water and nutrients and they ewith carbon dioxide. The healthy development of the tree is dependant on this soil-atmosphere gas exchange.
