Decided to upgrade the hot-end fan of my Monoprice Select Mini V2.
Unfortunately, the Noctua NF-A4x10 PWM I ordered needed a capacitor to get it going, otherwise it would if the hot-end climbed higher than 70C; an online search revealed I need to add a capacitor in parallel with the wires.
Goal was to keep the visual aspect clean, not having dangling wires or cut the zip ties of the printer etc; ended up with a small veroboard connecting the new fan wires with the old fan wires, and with a Rubycon 100 µF, 25 V (25ML100MEFC8X7) capacitor in parallel.
I needed a small box that would contain the board, at least to cover the solder joints and to go over the lip of the 30mm to 40mm adapter I used:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1546165
Decided to share the design in case somebody finds it useful.
