For making my home a smart home, I wanted to add "smart" to my default light switches. With this base instead of the usual one, you can add additional switches to the wall, looking unsuspicious while doing "smart" stuff.
Fits the Jung AS series. Clip the plate on from behind, glue in two cheap PCB pushbuttons you can get from China for like $5 for 100 pieces and from the front, push on the default Jung AS switch plate. Voila, the two pushbuttons now are activated by a totally normal-looking switch plate.
The empty space in the middle fits an "Anarduino" mini wireless module from http://www.hoperfusa.com and holds it in place nicely.
In the example photos, the frame for two items (switch and socket) was exchanged for a frame for four, two of these plates added and a Homematic switch module was used to connect the switches to. The cover plate for the original switch (that I want not to be used) is a work in progress. Will be prettier in the future.
