WARNING Godzilla is not soft and cuddly. This Godzilla has some sharp spines running down his back. Please be careful when removing supports and when using the diverter.
I adapted the Godzilla Lamp by osvin in to a Instant Pot Steam Diverter.
This steam diverter is made for the Duo / Smart series. These Instant Pots have the extension on the steam release valve. Make sure that you check your model prior to printing.
I am still learning how to effectively use/make my own supports. I relied on Cura to make the supports but found that I had a problem with the left arm of the design breaking off during printing as you can see in my post-print photos. I had to add extra supports to keep it attached.
The total post-print weight with supports was 155 grams. After removing the supports it was 89 grams. Support is important in the print. Not sure 66 grams worth but it is important.
Lastly, when I loaded the design in to Cura it said that there were manifold errors. They have been fixed but just in case you have an issue. I used the following website to correct the errors. You just load the file, click repair it, download the corrected file, then move on with printing.
