Remixed with the magnets inside the parts. (I saw someone suggest this, but I don't remember where I saw it.)
The magnets are 5/16" diameter x 1/8" thick. I bought 50 of them on Ebay for $8. Make sure you have the proper magnetic pole alignment when you insert the magnets.
In one of the pictures, the parts are all pressed together. You can't take a picture with them spaced out when there are magnets in them :)
