Dynamic component and bar length calculator for stirrups The component can be used to get the total Bar Length and/or to create a stirrup path which can be converted to cylinders using other tools or plugins. To create a stirrup: 1. Open the 'Component Options' window and set your dimensions, Bar diameter and Hook type. 2. Explode your model (2 times) 3. Use the 'Weld' plugin to unify all the segmented lines 4. Use the 'Line2tubes' plugin to create the cylinders. Remember to use the same diameter selected previously. Dimensions can be set using the textbox or the scale tool.
