This is a desktop "hutch" which I built to reclaim some real estate on my computer/3d printing desk. It is supporting a very heavy roland speaker and a very light phone. The zip ties you see are holding in some 12v led lights and are not part of the build. The hutch consists of four corner brackets (you have to print four), and interlocking square pipes or tubes (you will have to print six). I have enclosed a variety of tubes from 60mm to 300mm. Instead of printing a surface I designed a "truss" which can be printed out as needed. My particular "hutch" is 125mm tall, 250mm long, and 110mm wide (60mm pipe+25mm corner+25mm corner +4.. mm pipe diameter) . The truss I am using is designed to bridge a 60mm tube. I have enclosed a truss for use with a 60mm, 80mm, and 100mm tube. The only suggestion I would have is to align the corners so the layer lines are parallel to the surface. This way the layers lines will be in compression.
