This is a battery holder designed to use the Keystone 209 battery spring clip, in order to avoid the need any soldering or welding of tabs to cells, and also to facilitate easy cell replacement in case of failures.
The Keystone 209 battery spring clip is available inexpensively from many online electronics warehouses such as Digikey, Jameco, Mouser, and others.
It is currently sized for 32650 sized cells (LiFePo4 cylindrical cells), but should easily adapt to any cylindrical cells including 18650, D, C, AA, etc. I could not find any premade cell holders for the 32650 sized cells, given their relative rarity.
It holds the battery cell firmly due to the spring tension, but does not positively latch the battery in, I will add that in as a separate version.
