The Line6 DL4 has the most 1-button-press functionality among all loop pedals, making it the best one. Besides that, it weighs a million pounds and is huge. This is a smaller and lighter case for the Line6 DL4.
It is a work in progress, I printed one, made a lot of misses and had to do some adjustments to the DL4 circuit board, then went back and tried to fix the mis-measurements from memory, so I'm sorry that it might not be a bulls-eye. (but it will be very close, and certainly doable with minor adjustments at most).
Features and details:
the two halves of the pedal should fit track-to-groove.
-it's basically exactly the size of the circuit board.
-(because it's barely to big to fit on my printer bed) there are thicker lines on the slices for better super gluing. And a spot is left blank for-- I used some scrap strips to glue across those spaces, to reinforce the halves.
-the original buttons from the pedal have to be shimmed from below (so the spring can reach all the way down to the PCB)- see photos to see how low they're mounted. If they don't reach for some reason, you can also stretch the springs.
-Dang I apologize, I've just remembered an adjustment that I didn't fix-- some of the plugs on the back are off, so you'll have to ream them a bit with a pocket knife or move them up a little bit with a dremmel. As for the other adjustments I've made- if any of them were not sufficient, you'll have to scoot the PCB holes a bit with your dremmel.
-All the caps on the PCB have to be bent down, and the one big cap might have to be resoldered, loosened enough to bend, or extended. There is a little extra space in the design for that cap- I was able to desolder a little bit and bend just enough for that space.
-bonus- this also fixes the wiggly knobs of the original Line6 design.
-Sorry so messy, I made it on Tinkercad, so changes were hard. I'll include the unsliced models so you can change the words if you want. -like the THER GUIT on the back (it's input 1 and 2- they have different gains though, I have to use on for "theremin" and one for "guitar"). You can slice off and change all the words with your CAD.
Make sure to print with full and easy to remove support.
