THIS DESIGN HAS BEEN UPDATED. SEE:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:737600

This file will print end adapters for 3mm rod for balancing self tightening 6mm CCW and CW blades as used on a DJI Phantom ande others.
I used polished 3mm tool steel rod I bought on Amazon, about 6" each.
The .stl file prints two sets CCW and CW. The photo shows two more I also printed from the file "End_cap_adapter_for_Phantom_20_x_8mm.stl", by jjisnow. (DJI Phantom 2 Prop balancing adapter for Dubro).
I used ABS and mark the ends of the two CCW pieces with a black Sharpie.
My design more closely emulates the actual thread ends on DJI Phantom 2 motors, the relief and thread length.
I am a new guy to this and my prints still come out a bit rough and oversized, holes too tight, so I resorted to using dies to clean all the pieces up a bit and reaming our the hole for the 3mm rod. If I figure out how the get it right without finish work, I will update.
In order to get the part as accurate as possible, I used .100mm layers and slow printing speeds. I may have calibrating and other issues that I do not understand yet, but my prints come out a bit rough and need cleanup.
The brim is not part of the .stl file. I added them when I print to help keep them upright while printing. They come off easily.
