In the dark season one is overlooked as a pedestrian fast. Lighting is needed.

The NC contact is cut off at the pushbutton.
For the contacts, the wire ends are angled and melted into the housing with a soldering iron.
The lower wire (minus) is connected to the button. The upper wire (plus) is connected directly to the anode (long lead) of the LED.
The cathode (short lead) is connected to the pushbutton.
