In the style of the Technics overhang gauge, I made a similar part that fits the smaller, straight tonearm ADC-style headshells. These were common in the 80s (I think) on a bunch of tables, though not all of them had the same spacing requirement.
This one specifically has a 35mm spacing which is correct for the Denon DP-35F, DP-37F, and DP-45F only. The overhang gauge in the manual seems...silly, and I've never even seen one in real life. The manual does clearly state to align the cartridge body parallel to the angled part of the headshell, and have the stylus tip 35mm away from the front edge of the connector. So, thats what this tool helps you do.
It is NOT correct for the DP-47F, 51F, 52F, or 61F as those use a ~38mm spacing instead.
It may or may not be correct for other turntables as well, if you know one, LMK so I can add it to my list.
The short version (about 4mm shorter) may not be suitable if your cartridge height (body top to stylus tip) is > 19mm. Use the tall one instead in that case.
