Grade 2 Listed Building. Preserved lychgate at the site of the partially demolished St. Peter's Church. Lychgate building erected 1899 and dedicated to John Altham Graham-Clarke who owned nearby Frocester Court until his death in 1887. Elaborately carved timber features on lychgate gable ends. Swing bar gates with inscription 'ST.PETER'S', 'FROCESTER'. Ashlar stone supporting walls with chamfered tops. Note: lychgates can be found at the entrance to churchyards and relate to ancient funerial traditions. #lychgate
