Holds a solution of water, sugar and boric acid. Designed to sit up against a baseboard so it will be out of the way. Sloped sides encourage ants to climb up to the reservoir. When printed at 100%, it is fairly small (approx. 2" long), so it may need to be refilled with solution daily. The standard formula is 1 cup water + 8 teaspoons sugar + 1 tsp boric acid. This mixture has worked well for us. The ants go back and poison their colony after consuming it.
Update 5/2018: We just had the first ant invasion in our kitchen for this year. I put out four of these containers, two on either side of our back door. Within 24 hours, there were probably 100 or more dead ants, and they had stopped coming in. Another invading army vanquished !
The second version is longer and has a handle to make it easier to pick up the tray once it is on the floor.
I recommend printing these in white so you can easily see the ants. Print 4 at one time and you will have a whole set.
