Hi Everyone,
I believe this is a production ready version of my part to convert anesthesia masks to improvised PPE.
The part is glued onto the anesthesia mask using either Silicone or Epoxy, and then has a ~ 4" swatch of improvised filter material secured across the opening with a special clip.
The clip design allows different thicknesses of materials to be used without modification.
So far, our best candidate for filter material are HEPA vacuum bags, and a sterilization wrap fabric called HALYARD H600 which may be in abundant supply in hospitals. I do not have any way to test these materials, and I would love to be put into contact with someone who can provide guidance here.

This design can also be adapted to other types of readily available masks if a source is discovered.
Must be printed in PET or ABS. All my prototypes have been PET. The fingers need more flex than I believe PLA can provide.
Currently I print my prototypes with 3 shells, and solid infill. .6mm extrusion width and .3mm layer height. So far I get a watertight print on my machines, but the adaptor can also be potentially sealed with a thinned epoxy or silicone.
