ABS Slurry Dish by i3DGear

This is a super simple thing that you could obviously just design and make yourself. But, I think it's a great tip for people having trouble getting ABS prints to stick to the print bed. You read a lot about people taking bits of old ABS filament and dissolving them in a jar and then spreading that mix on the print bed with a brush. Kind of complicated and dangerous to be storing a jar full of acetone.
My method is to just take a paper towel, dampen it with a bit of acetone and rub it on the slurry dish. Then rub the paper towel on your bed (works best when the bed is cold, before your preheat). This will put a very light coating of ABS plastic on the Kapton tape on your bed. Things stick like crazy.
If I want a thicker coating, then I just put a teaspoon of acetone IN the dish and then rub the paper towel around.
I print a slurry dish in each of my colours of filament. They take about 20 or 30 minutes to print and last for months.
I don't know if you'll find this useful or not, but I sure did. No more curled up edges on large ABS prints.
